Abdallah, Collin. "'Pixel Facade' System Combines a Love for Nature With Next-Generation Workspaces." Archdaily, 7 May, 2018. Accessed 10 May, 2018. <https://www.archdaily.com/893745/pixel-facade-system-combines-a-love-for-nature-with-next-generation-workspaces>

The article is based on a shortlisted project for the 2018 Design Challenge, "Design the Next-Generation Facade," held by Metals in Construction Magazine.

The articles features a "Pixel Facade" system which I wall draw on for inspiration for my theory and also my own design. The design features moving elements to create for an incredibly adaptive design conducive to collaboration in the work environment. It also incorporates a number of modular planters that allow for passive break-space where employees are able to immerse themselves in nature.

Using this article and elements of the 'Pixel Facade' project as my inspiration, I hope to design a shared space that can be adapted to foster the innovative needs of both staff and students at UNSW.
